Transportation Applied Intelligence Software, LLC d/b/a Tai Software (“we,” “us,” or “our”) understands and respects the importance of privacy. We developed this Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) to explain how we collect, use, share, and protect Personal Information (defined below). This Policy applies to Personal Information collected or processed through the service you are currently using and the technology supporting the service, including, our website (https://tai-software.com/), web platform, or any other of our offered online services or products (collectively, the “Services”).

WHAT IS PERSONAL INFORMATION?

       A. Information that you provide us

In various places within the Services, we may request you provide us certain limited Personal Information. For example, when you choose to request a Demo, we may request you provide your name, email address, and telephone number. We will indicate on the form whether a particular field of Personal Information is mandatory or optional. If you choose not to provide certain Personal Information, we may not be able to provide the requested Services.

       B. Information we automatically collect from you

Cookies are small data files that are transferred to your computer’s hard disk and are used to store information about website visits, your preferences, and enhance website functionality. To improve your overall experience with the Services, we may use cookies, device identifiers, or similar technologies such as pixels, web beacons, and local storage for the following purposes: to improve the functionality of the Services, to remember your online preferences within the Services, and to help us better understand how you interact with the Services.

  • Google Analytics 

To assist us with analyzing the traffic to the Services through cookies and similar technologies, we may use analytic services, including Google Analytics.   • Geolocation Information

To improve the accuracy of the Services, we may track your location-based information from your mobile device, either continuously or while you are using the Services. If you wish to change our access or permissions, you may be able to do so in your mobile device’s settings menu.

  • Log File Information

When you use the Services, our servers automatically record information, including your Internet Protocol address (“IP Address”), browser type, referring URLs (e.g., the site you visited before coming to the Services), domain names associated with your internet service provider, information on your interaction with the Services, and other such information (collectively, “Log File Information”). 

HOW WE USE PERSONAL INFORMATION

We use or in the future may potentially use Personal Information to provide our Services, administering and improving the Services, protecting our rights and intellectual property, meeting legal obligations, and for other purposes related to the reasons for which you provide Personal Information.

We will retain your Personal Information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which we collected and processed the Personal Information, or as required by applicable laws.

DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

We will not disclose Personal Information except as set forth in this Policy. We may disclose Personal Information for the following purposes:

  • Service Providers. We engage service providers to perform tasks on its behalf and to assist in operating the Services. We take commercially reasonable steps to help ensure our  service providers provide at least the same level of protection for Personal Information as we do.
  • Merger, Acquisition, or Change of Control. If we sell or otherwise transfer part or the whole of our business or assets to another organization (e.g., in the course of a transaction like a merger, acquisition, change of control, dissolution, or liquidation), any Personal Information collected through the Services may be among the items sold or transferred.
  • Law Enforcement, Government Agencies, or Courts. We may disclose Personal Information at the request of law enforcement or government agencies; in response to subpoenas, court orders, or other legal process; to establish, protect, or exercise our rights; to defend against a legal claim; to protect the rights, property, or safety of any other person; or as otherwise required by law.

HOW WE PROTECT PERSONAL INFORMATION

We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your Personal Information under our control. However, while we attempt to ensure the integrity and security of Personal Information, we cannot guarantee that our security measures will prevent third parties such as hackers from illegally obtaining access to Personal Information. We do not represent or warrant that Personal Information about you will be protected against, loss, misuse, or alteration by third parties.

RETENTION AND DELETION

As discussed above, we keep Personal Information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected and processed, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, regulatory, accounting, or reporting requirements. 

Opting Out of Receiving Electronic Communications 

To provide you information regarding the Services, we may send you newsletters, marketing materials, or other information via email or other electronic method (“Communications”). You may choose to stop receiving Communications by clicking on the conspicuous “Unsubscribe” link located at the bottom of any Communication we send to you. Please note that certain Communications are necessary for the proper functioning and use of the Services and you may not have the ability to opt out of those Communications.

THIRD PARTY LINKS

We are not responsible for the practices employed by any websites or services linked to or from the Services, including the information or content contained within them. A link to a third party’s website should not be construed as an endorsement. We encourage you to investigate and ask questions before disclosing Personal Information to third parties.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may modify or update this Policy from time to time, so please review it periodically. If we make a change to this Policy that, in our sole discretion, is material, we will notify you as appropriate under the circumstances. Unless otherwise indicated, any changes to this Policy will apply immediately upon posting to the Services.
