Lifecycle of a Shipment – Phase 3: Carrier Sourcing
Historical data: Choose carriers that have completed the same or similar shipment in the past
Regionality: Find local carriers that are within a 100 miles radius
Availability: See an up-to-date list of carriers readily available to cover the load
After finalizing your shipment’s details and creating a quote, sourcing the right carrier to cover the load can mean endless phone calls and emails. Make carrier sourcing quick and easy using Tai’s sourcing solutions.
Using Tai TMS to source your carriers, you can:
Leverage carriers that have either run shipments like yours in the past or are within a 100-mile radius of your shipment to easily and efficiently find coverage.
Simply input your shipment information and a list of available carriers will automatically generate. You can then bulk notify these carriers that a shipment is ready to be picked up, communicate with the carriers interested, and confirm coverage, all within one TMS.
Whether you have one shipment to cover or many, you can post directly to DAT, Truckstop, or any relevant load board within Tai TMS. Using this feature, you can quickly list your shipment(s) so available carriers can provide quotes almost instantaneously and you can move on to the next opportunity.
When you post your shipments using Tai TMS, you can also automate reposting easily so your shipment is always at the top, without having to jump between different platforms or revisit the original posting.
If you have existing relationships with capacity tools such as DAT or Parade, you can integrate those tools directly into the Tai platform. When you add these features, once a customer approves their quote, the shipment can be automatically pushed to one of your capacity tools and seamlessly covered.
Additionally, after a shipment is created, all available trucks per tool will populate on the same screen as your historical and regional options, eliminating the need to check multiple sources to cover one shipment.
Tai gives your team unmatched speed and scalability with automation implanted into every phase, along with direct integrations to carriers, load boards and capacity tools.
