The portal can also prompt shippers to provide insurance and accessorial information during shipment creation. Users can create API-connected tariffs for supported carriers, configure customer-specific pricing, link tariffs to organizations, import tariff data, manage accessorials, and control tariff availability. During rating, Tai TMS automatically applies the appropriate tariff based on the shipment and customer. For carriers that are not API-enabled, brokers can manually create tariffs to store and apply contracted rates.

Tai TMS supports fully electronic dispatching of LTL (Less Than Truckload) shipments directly to carriers via its automated workflow and real-time integrations (APIs/EDIs). This allows brokers and shippers to send shipment details, trigger dispatch status changes, and receive carrier responses, all within a unified platform. If the carrier rejects the shipment, Tai creates an alert so the broker can quickly re-rate or reassign the shipment.
